Since this is my first blog post ever, I decided to use it to introduce myself a little bit and to tell you how my blog will probably look like.
My name is Tanja, I'm 22 years old and I live in Austria. I'm currently studying Archaeology and Trans-Cultural Communication at my hometown's university. My biggest hobby is ballroom-dancing. I’ve been attending a dancing school for more than 6 years. My favourite dances Salsa, Kizomba and Bachata, however, don’t count as typical ballroom dances.
Concerning
my blog I am not yet sure what it is going to be about. However, since this
blog is for my English course and therefore has to be language-related, I’ll
probably mainly write about places abroad that I’ve visited. Admittedly, I don't have any experience concerning formatting etc. I'll try to make my blog look "pleasing to the eye" and add pictures to it but give me some time to give it a shot. Furthermore, as you may have already
noticed, my writing style is quite formal. I have to admit that I am a bit
perfectionist - or at least I try to be - when it comes to writing. The reason
behind that is that I almost entirely had to write formal texts in school and
that’s why I lack in practice of informal writing. But I will try and improve,
I promise!
